I love this story so far! Zuko having amnesia and being part of the freedom fighters Is a nice twist, although I wonder why Katara, Aang and the others didn't just tell him who he really was. Zuko and Jets interactions are exactly how I I thought they would be if Zuko was part of Jets group..... Always at each others throats! Lol. You really wrote Jet perfectly, you can really feel the anger and inner turmoil he's going through throughout the story. I feel so bad for him. I knew Jet wasn't going to be able to cope with settling into the village life. It was only a matter of time before he got bored.Jet needs a cause to fight for, he needs excitement...that's who he is. Anyway, great story I can't wait to read more.
Wow, there's alot more chapters since I was last here:) This story just gets better and better! Each chapter keeps you wanting more and you've done a great job keeping everyone in character. I'm anxious yet afraid to find out how Jet will react when Zuko starts to firebend. But,Yay! Zuko and Jet finally have their first *angry* kiss! Can't wait to see what happens next!
Wait... so where did the water come from? was it the tea, or that that part of the dream sequence to... this chapter was sort of weird, good, but weird.
Didyoujustmakeirohevil? Or was it Zhao who blasted Zuko with lightning, but that wouldn't have come off as a betrayal. So you did. You made Iroh evil. Iroh shot his nephew with lighting and tossed him over board... but that doesn't make sense for a large number of reasons. So it must have been someone else. Probably. Gyerk.
I dislike A/U stories that are too different form the story line, which is why I was hesitant about reading this. I mean, it was close to the original storyline to a point, which I liked. But it also had a ton of new elements in it that I found I also actually liked. Zuko having amnesia and thinking he's really "Li" is one of them. It was refreshing, and an idea I never knew I yearned to read until I read this.
Although some of the higher vocabulary seems a bit much and a bit too formal, it was refreshing.
I am looking forward to seeing just where this story goes. It's also given me a new found love for A/Us. I always pass them up without trying them out, thinking they were all horrible, but after reading this...I'm starting to feel I've been heavily mistaken...
